Banff Cycle is a locally-owned and family-operated business. Our mission is to help you have the very best cycling experience in Banff and the Bow Valley.

We began operating in 2014, offering hybrid and road bike rentals and tours. In 2019, we added a fleet of eBikes to our rental and tour offerings as well.

Using our Banff Cycle van, we deliver and pick-up bikes to wherever you are staying. You also never need to worry about being stranded with a flat tire—we offer road-side service in case you need any help along the way.

Our staff are certified by the Interpretive Guides Association and trained in First Aid/ CPR.

Tom has been living and cycling in Banff and the surrounding Bow Valley since 1984.

In 2003, he became the first person to ever bike the entire length of the Trans-Canada Trail, from St. John’s, Newfoundland all the way to Victoria, British Columbia.

When Tom’s not driving the Banff Cycle van or leading cycling tours, you can find him biking around Banff being pulled by his two dogs, or spending time with his wife and family. Tom is also an avid kite-skier and kite-surfer.
