Road comfort bike FAQ’s

  • Should I rent a road comfort bike, a hybrid road/mountain bike, or a high performance road bike?

    • If you want to stick to the paved roads and pathways, for example, the ride to Johnston Canyon or the Legacy Trail to Canmore, then this road comfort bike is a great option.

    • If you want to also have the option to also ride on some dirt trails like the Fenlands Loop or the Goat Creek Trail, then the hybrid road/mountain bike is perfect for that.

    • The road performance bike is built for speed. It has a much lighter carbon frame, narrower faster tires, and a more aerodynamic posture. It is perfect if you want to ride fast and far, but is also less comfortable than the more upright posture on the road comfort bike. The road comfort bike also has a kickstand for easy stops and can be easily locked up anywhere. The road performance bike does not have a kickstand and we don’t recommend leaving it unattended, even with a lock.
